Need to figure out the missing part
This was my last attempt for this Winter. Last time when I went to my native for our mega cricket event, I was disappointed to see the result of all my hard work since October.
Certainly not the expected outcome of all the effort that had been put since October.
It was a lot of effort to take plants, soil, fertilizers from here, and do it all myself, but the only reason I keep doing this is to provide some smile to Parents. Everyone loves flowers and so do they, but they are not in a position to do it themselves. So I do all the hard work and tell Mom to water the plants, that too in a balanced way. Too much of water is not good for plants, in Winter.
And then this was the growth in 2 weeks, I take photographs and keep it for comparison, so that I can track. When I went after two weeks, I felt, they are not growing as desired. Because the same plants I have planted in our apartment society was looking much better. So I thought, may be they are not getting enough Sunlight, so I moved them to another place.
There was improvement, but not as expected. Gardening is so much learning, I am still not able to know why they have not grown the same, but certainly this is a learning for next year.
Mom already communicated that to me, so I bought, five plants at 100/- to close this season and replanted them after taking out of those small containers.
So overall not very happy with the garden at Native,
but there were some other reasons to be happy.
Lots of apple berries this year.
And then this.
Some real happiness there , another inspiration for me to go. And before I wind up this post, a fun fact.
Every time I go home, I bring a lot of papaya, as it's the most natural organic vegetable without a lot of effort. There is one tree in the front, and these above two were readily available. But then there is another tree on the backwards, which was having a lot of them.
But there was no way to get them - every piece of big bamboos we have did not reach there.
So what I did is shake the tree heavily based on Mom's suggestion, and see what happened.
Almost each of them was having some sort of injuries 😀, but at least, we could eat them raw. In the process of getting a good one from another tree, I hit one papaya with a bamboo, but then to catch the papaya, left the bamboo, which fell on my leg and a finger was badly damaged. Learning never ends 😄
Now some more photographs from our garden.
The violet flower is a saver in the Winter, but we can get this much flower every day from the garden, something that is impossible in the city. But good that, I have some good news from my garden in my society, more to come on that...

Great job, that's a nice variety of fruits and vegetables you have there. It shows the care and attention to detail throughout your garden is very beautiful. Congratulations
😉🌈🤙 good new with bad news (and learning) always in life. :P
u do have many nice flowers and fruits and other things to be proud of! :)
Do sunchokes (Jerusalem artichokes) grow there? they have beautiful flowers (like sunflower) but the roots are good food also. and they are super hearty so can grow in almost any ground. I always wanted to try to grow some of those. I thought of it since u like flowers too..
Searching for sunchokes (Jerusalem artichokes) I can see it's one sunflower species , we do grow sunflower, but then never seen anyone eating the roots. The flowers are used to make refine oil though, when grown in very large quantities.
hmmmm, make oil, huh? very cool! :)
You still got those beautiful plants. Have fun on the game!

My plants aren't that great at the moment too. They're drying out.
Sometimes it happens that it is not so easy to take care of all these things, watering on time and taking care of all the other minute things, and even if you take care, the plants that are damaged, then the person needs a lot. It hurts.
This is wonderful dear friend, quick question:
How did you know that these papayas were riped enough to be plucked?
It's nice to see that in this modern era you understand your parents feeling and taking care of them.
Really a good human
It actually seems like the weather condition is the same around the globe. This particular season of winter is actually so strong
I can feel your pain. I have had a lot of plants that were not growing as I expected them to, and some have even died. Gardening feels like a never ending journey of learning. Each type of plant can have its own set of factors needed; amount of sunlight/water/fertilizer needed. I hope your efforts are rewarded in the end. At least you had a lot of good things happen throughout the year as well.
Always positive and building, we may not get the result as desired, but then we don't stop building.

How beautiful what you do to make your parents look happy.
I'm sorry that the results have not been what I expected in the garden of your hometown. I have no doubt that you will find what is needed to achieve the expected result.
How satisfying it is to see the rest of the garden and the good results.
Have a great dayHow are you dear friend @sanjeevm good morning
Yes, gardening is a continuous learning process. All your plants 🪴 didn't grow well.
I did not recognise what papaya was.?
By the way nice post dear.
I am also fond of gardening.
Those plants still look pretty good to me. Better than anything I have grown lately! It's those dang weeds always getting in the way isn't it?
If I compare them to the same plants that I planted in my society, they are way behind. Something is missing, to be figured out only next winter.
Atleast you managed to gather quite some papaya's!
How do thede taste? I've never tried some
Papaya is a healer vegetable, you can eat them by cooking raw, or direct when ripen. The health benefit of it is unmatched, you must try.
Sorry for your plants not growing the way you wanted it to but I’m sure it will always get better
Keep trying
Exactly, we continue to build.
Pretty plants pretty efforts and pretty clicks. Hope you get the best of your efforts.
Not the best though.
These pictures shows your efforts and hard work. Flowers bloom such a stunning shots and especially the upper pots and their flowers.
I always like to spend time in garden and with flowers as I think time spend with them never wasted.
This is so good that you did for you mother... it's true there are a lot of things to learn for gardening, and when we get the organic fruit it gives immense happiness .
I hope your leg is fine now after hitting that bamboo 😃
Have a great week ahead 😊🙏
A nice lesson learnt and took a week to heal 😃
Have a nice great day 🥰🥰
I have fond passion to plant different plants in garden but I always stay away because I know it will need my time and I have to learn things about their growth that's why I don't usually I stay away from it. Although I love plants. But, brother don't be sad that they aren't growing in that way you desired. Just take care in this intense weather. I think it's due to changing weather.
Ya, that's for sure, Winter is not like old days.
It looks like good to me, there are really plants don't like in hot or cold situations but it can survived with our help by caring the plants. I really appreciated your article my friend.
