RE: The growing hand

in HiveGardenlast year

Man having a garden like that is my dream. Maybe that's why I used so many hours in stardew valley.

I would like to know your opinion on something. I heard from Sadhguru that he was bringing attention to something about "Ground exhaustion". This is; he explained, that commercial farming doesn't let the floor rest enough or nurture it with organic materials so it is said fruits and vegetables are now only 20% nutrient dense thant they were before forcing people to take supplements. Have you heard about it? or do you know is a thing when you take care of your garden?

Yes, farmers generally let the land go fallow for a period, and also plant alternate crops as well otherwise the plants can extract the nutrients and subsequent crops fail. I do this with my own vegetable garden beds and spend a lot of time preparing the soil as I mentioned in this post. It's important for a good crop and healthy produce.

What would you plant if you have the ability?

Tomatoes. Just imagine doing a pizza with your own tomatoes! And so much more. Is one of the most useful fruits I know of. Thanks for your insight. I guess the best survival move of the future is to have your own garden.

I love tomatoes and eating my own is even better.. the ones from the supermarket don't tend to have much taste. My own are bloody amazing!

Interesting. I wonder if that means Sadhguru was right. Taste means more nutrient density right? How lovely 🧡

I have no idea, I guess you'll have to research it and see; I'm sure there's some merit to it though.
