The Clematis vines are quite happy in their new sunny spot by the windows. They have formed large flowers and have used the string I provided for support. These plants will go outside in the ground once the weather warms up, but we have another two months or so before its time to transplant into the ground outside.
So for now they will hang out by the windows and await warmer weather.
They have a slight smell to them but really look nice in the light.
One of them has climbed nearly all the way up to the top of the window.
The flowers stay around for a long time, really looking forward to seeing them grow up during the spring when I put them in the ground.
The roses growing under the LEDs have been quite hit or miss. Seems spider mites have shown up, as I find them I banish the rose plants to the outdoors. Assuming they will go dormant until the weather warms up, but the last thing I want is all my plants to get spider mites.
These little bugs will make webbing between the leaves and can be quite destructive.
Instead of treating them, I hope subjecting the plants to freezing weather will kill them off. Placing them outside.
Though at the moment it would seem only the roses have spider mite problems, the other plants seem unaffected.
Really hope I do not lose any of my rose bushes. Maybe planting them now and letting them go dormant would be a good idea.
The Elderberry plants keep growing, using the light from the next row up as they are getting quite big.
I cut back the Marjoram plants and put the cuttings in water.
Waiting for more roots to form and then going to plant them in their own pots.
Some of them seem to be bolting, hopefully they will go back to leafing.
More sad rose bushes, seems being indoors is not their favorite.
I check them for mites every day, they also need lots of water. If I miss a day I will find them dropping leaves, so lots of care is needed for them.
The empty pots have pine seeds in them, waiting for them to emerge. Though it may take 30-50 days for that to happen from what I have read. So I water the containers lightly every few days and that is about it. Next to them is a few pine seeds that have already germinated.
The lone Korean pine that germinated very early is growing. Now it has shot off two new nodes and seems happy with its setup.
Behind it are two Mondell pines, the color difference between the pines is quite apparent.
The Sage plants are not doing much, so we have not taken any cutting them from. Maybe they will grow more in the spring and summer.
So for now we are waiting for warm weather and then everything here will either go into the ground or out into the green house hopefully. I now have water running out to the green house, but need to wire up a pressure tank and rebuild the solar power out there, but I think I can get that mostly done before its warm in a few months. Hoping with a mister system and good fans I can get the green house working well for me.
I never understand where these little bugs come from, man. Sometimes I bring home flowers from the garden and even though there's no chance of bugs coming from anywhere, after a while I see bugs on them. So it's good to check and spray them regularly.
May your flower grow healthily and abundantly, my friend ❤️
Woowww very" beautiful 😍
I have been starting to think about seeds and planting and you are way ahead of me! I find indoor growing with lights is hit or miss as well but you sure have a nice setup.
Can’t wait for the warmer weather even though it means quite a bit of work. The work you do seems so much more purposeful as you are building your homestead and I am just making use of urban yard space.
Grow my little pretties!
Good evening my brother.
Wow, it's great that you have so many plants in your house, even some of them are my favorite plants.
The first flower looks very tempting and I've never seen it before, it's so beautiful ♥️
Glad to hear the Clematis are growing well. And interesting to see how they are using the ropes as natural supports. And it will be fun to see them grow bigger in the spring. And have a nice day.
This is my favorite:
So they want to make a new barge place by the window, my friend's beautiful money flowers, hopefully they can have fun in my friend's new barge place😊
First time I've heard or seen Clematis but dang those flowers are beautiful. The growth of spring coming up it looks like you're off to a seriously great start!!
Its a cool flower. As long as it's adding to house beauty, I might be okay with no or little fragrance of it.
Lavender color flower, attracting heart.
I'm looking forward to seeing how all of those pine trees turn out!
so beautiful and striking.. i mean the purple flower shown first..
u have quite a nice bunch of plants there! 👊☺️😎🤙
Wow! How do you keep up with all of these? Everything happening in your garden seems like a full time job, you miss anything you deal with the consequences later.
Your plants look nice. Your vines grow very fast, they will grow as long as they can. The rose is a little wilted, this will go away when the weather gets warmer.
So beautiful flower! I have the same kind in my garden
waw very good flower you have. I really really like seeing the flowers in your room
To the first plant you mentioned, is it that the environment is freezing? With the kind of weather we have in my part of the world, warmness and hotness is a thing of a regular basis. Lol
i like the flower in the first picture ,really beautiful , a wonderful experience of planting 👍👍👍
It might be worth to swap around those trays in the spring, clean them up with soapy water and let them sit in the sun.
