Ahh the sun. The weather has been inconsistent for a while, however, the sun finally arrived in Melbourne and the garden is truly spectacular. Nature is at its best with the bee pollinating the flowers and birds chirping in the trees. Our little garden is flourishing :)
I had doubts about tomatoes that I planted in August. I thought they would never grow, let alone bear fruit. Nearly 6 months later, yet, to my pleasant surprise and delight, those tomatoes have since grown and are now fruiting. 🙂 I remember riverflows told me that November or December is actually an ideal month for planting this nutritious fruit, and yes it is :)
Thinking about picking fresh tomatoes using them for delicious home cooked meals or even eating raw make me so excited :)
Many of tomatoes tend stay relatively small and may require more care, So I moved them to the other little raised garden bed. The size of the plants have been bigger after two weeks
Mint looks healthy and its taste is strong and spicy :)
The lemon tree looks healthy, standing tall amongst the beautiful flowers that surround it. (The pic was taken last month)
I've taken photos of flowers in front and back garden. Many flowering plants have a short lifespan and only bloom for a few weeks. However, these plants' intense beauty makes them worth admiring for the time that they are in full bloom.
Even though many of them are not physically present in the garden anymore, I really enjoy looking at the photos of them on my phone with fondness. These pictures remind me of the joy that I felt when they were alive and in-bloom.
Although the amount of plants we currently have in our gardens may not be plentiful, it still brings us great joy and satisfaction. So that's it for our little garden update. I hope you find it enjoyable 🙂

What a beautiful garden you have @trangbaby.From vegetables to flowering plants. Aside from food, gardens can relieve our stress and the green colors are vitamins to our eyes plus it provides oxygen. Congrats on your fruitful garden mam!
