Good day dear mates! In this year gardening season in my region was hot dry and unusually long.
Also for me it was a little bit more hard then usual to deal with it due some external reasons. How I started this season you can know from one of my previous posts like this
First of all his season was very reach for me for fruits and berries. Among them strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.
Berry harvest
July gave me good harvest of black current. Which was enough to cook jam for winter season.
Again in this season I had good experience with cranberries which I grew up in pots.
Especially I should mention my vine plants. In this season I had a lot of work with them. First of all after cutting plants first time in April and blooming in May -June I was need to protect them from damage from diseases and pests. It also required regular pruning and preventive maintenance. Fortunately this work was successful and I got excellent harvest in September.
Besides it I want to say that for upcoming 2025 season I bought several vine seedlings of different varieties. And I hope after couple years it will delight me with it's harvest. Unfortunately I bought this seedlings lately in November and soil was frozen. That's why for winter time I put them in cool dark place to save them.
My blackberries plants show them good enough. Couple varieties show that they need to be replanted to the new place in next year. So for it I prepared place and when it'll be possible I'll replant them surely in spring! I think it'll be April or early May depends from the weather.
Vegetables from outside
There was also a large crop of zucchini and cabbage this summer. And considering that this year I planted zucchini in 2 approaches, I harvested the last zucchini in October! In October I took chilly peppers harvest which was good enough and spicy. Part of it I dried for winter time, another part already was eaten :)
Topinambur - I will say a few words about it in this section. It was planted by me in May after digging the vegetable garden. And as time showed, the place for it was chosen suitably. Since the bushes bloomed until late fall. And 2 buckets of harvest speak for themselves.
And last hero in this section is a greenery. I planted it in new place. It was juicy and bright enough. We dried it for winter time to put it then in different meals.
Greenhouse
Now let's move to my greenhouse. As I mentioned in my July post I planted there tomatoes and cucumbers there. And for experiment there I put couple roots of peppers. Unfortunately result was not so good as I expected. But in next year I'll try my best with it!
Like a zucchini cucumbers I planted also in 2 approaches. So as it can be predictable I could harvest them till first frosts. Late maturing tomato varieties became good bonus in this year. And also brought good harvest.
Flowers
Now some words about flowers. In this season roses and other were colorful and bright. And again last flowers I cut just at the end of October before first strong frosts like it was with vine.
Side work
In addition, during the garden works I also tried to keep the garden clean. During the summer period I carried out pruning of fruit trees and shrubs. I dug up the boles of apple, cherry and plum trees. When raspberries and blackberries were harvested, I cut out old fruit-bearing bushes and collected fallen leaves so that the site would be clean and I wouldn't have to spend time on this in the spring, as I have other important works planned for this time.
Summary
Now my garden covered with the snow and as a conclusion I'd like to say that I glad that last season was long and reach enough for harvest! And now I have a little bit time to rest from gardening. Hope 2025 season will be also good and lucky for me! That's all for now. Stay tuned! Yours @travoved
P.s. this post goes to the last garden journal of the year challenge.

!HUGS from Brasil!
It's wonderful to know how changes season on planet when in North part we already in winter you just starting to grow your plants.
Honestly I'm very missing Brazil. Didn't was there since 2017.
By the way about vines exactly in 2017 visited with friends Miolo Wine Group winery in excursion. It was memorable place)
This MIOLO winery is located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, which was hit by the rains in May. I don't know if the vines in this group were affected.
Ohh I heard about strong rains in this year but didn't look deep how strongly it affected on different sectors of industry. Hope they are well🤞🤞
