Curry leaves bloom!

in HiveGarden7 days ago

Namaste to all gardeners and plant lovers!

Remember how a few days ago a lot of small buds had come out in bunches on my curry leaves plants, and I told you that it is very important to pluck them and throw if you want your plant to flourish because flowers and then seeds are formed from those buds and maximum energy of the plant is used in this process.

I plucked those bunches from all my plants and threw them away and after that I saw lots of leaves on my plants which shows good healthy growth of the plants.

However, I might have overlooked some buds somewhere in between the leaves of the plant and today I saw one of them blooming in the form of a very cute small white flower.

I did not want to pluck such lovely flowers, but to be honest, it was necessary. Because not plucking them would not only slow down the growth of the plant but would also create new seeds and plants, which I do not need right now because I already have 7 to 8 curry leaves plants, and thankfully, all of them are flourishing.

Still, every second season, a new plant sprouts from the roots of my old plants, as you can see, a tiny plant in the picture below, so I have reasons to stop these seeds from growing. If you want to grow more curry leaf plants, then you should definitely let these buds grow. Its fruits look like small green peas, let them grow on the plants till they turn brown and then pluck and sow them 1 inch deep in the soil. That's all for today, happy gardening to all of you!

Oh! So that is how to grow a curry plant. Thanks for telling. They look lovely indeed.

Yess, It's that simple! 😊
Even if you do not pluck its fruits, it will still grow because after ripening completely, its fruits fall automatically in the soil and later a small plant comes out from there. 🌳
Thank you!

That’s quite interesting.
You’re welcome and thank you too for sharing.

I am very pleased to see you taking such a serious interest in this. :) If you want, I can also show you the entire process of growing a curry plant with the growth of these few remaining flowers.

Interesting images achieved that give us magnificent details of this beautiful plant!

Thank you! :)

It is a pleasure for me!

The plant looks great in the photos.
That's the great thing about having a house, you can do a lot of things in the garden.
I have some shades, on the balcony of my apartment.
And they really make my life happier.
Happy afternoon.

In the context of plants, place can never be an issue as different types of plants are grown on ground, roof, balcony, bright sun, shade etc. and together they make our life happier! Happy day to you my friend! :)

Greetings, if you are right, plants bring joy and harmony to the home, their presence fills.
But in the houses there is, a lot of chance of having certain bushes that you can't have in an apartment.
In my aunt's house, there are also decorative and medicinal plants, mango, avocado and soursop trees, as well as lemon.
The space helps a lot with the bushes, that's what I meant.
And it really is very tasty, being on the porch of the house, drinking coffee, sitting under the shade of a fruit tree, you feel its freshness, and that gives joy of soul and spirit.
Happy day.

In that way you are absolutely right. I saw a blog today about the plants in your apartment, and it was really nice and inspiring because despite being in your apartment, you have grown a lot of nice plants. Happy day to you too! :)

Thanks for sharing your experience with us!

Haha! It was tough but It's not just about the looks of the plant but also the health. Especially when you are growing plants in pots. If the maximum nutrition of the plant is used in the growth of flowers then how will the plant become dense. :)

Dhanyawad bhai! :)

Definitely, for every plant or crop there is a trick and, from what I read and see, you know the curry one very well. I would never have done that and my plant (if I had one) would have stayed the same.

Well, now that you know the trick, when you have a curry plant I am sure it will be very healthy and green. Thank You! 😊

No curries in Indian kitchen without curry keaves. Some say boiling drinking water can control cholesterol in our body. Appreciate your great interest 👍

Curry leaves are so full of antioxidants and add flavour to many dishes. 😋 Thank You!

Too bad you have to pull them out, but for those who want to have more plants is better not to do it hehe is a very nice plant, curious way for it to grow 😊

Thank you for appreciating it!😊
