So much goodness in here! :<)
My family in The Netherlands showed us pictures of a snowy landscape, today. It was around 20 degrees Celsius out there, a week ago and now it's snowing.
We are about to experience some colder nights here too but the weather during the day is plain amazing.
the term global warming merely makes me laugh, these days
Cool to hear about this sand box / sand pit you created. I have good memories to playing in these pits.
If I may offer you a piece of advice, make sure it doesn't turn into a big cat litter box.
This happened, years ago, at my twin sister's place. The cats took over the sand box and it started to smell* so* much that they stopped using it for the kids. Make sure to cover it, at night ( if your cats spend the night outside at all ) and teach your cats not to shit and pee in there ;<)
Um abraço!
From 20 degrees to freezing! Madness. Poor plants & animals. Esteban was saying at lunch today that all we need is a (friendly) fire breathing dragon to keep us warm at times like this. Wouldn't that be great!
I can see you smiling when you say this. Your daytime temperatures must be right in the 'sweet spot' now :)
I too have some enjoyable sandpit memories though they are so vague I can't connect them to a location.
Big thanks for the cat problem observation! A lid of sorts will be created. For now I think the cold (and crazy winds) will keep the cats away ;)
Haha, perhaps he was reffering to this sketchie / painting I made months ago ;<)
Here's some extra warmth!
I definitely remember where my sand box memories took place: primary school ( there was a huge sandbox there ), the summer house of my grand parents in the South of France, sold in 1990 when I was 8 years young, and a sandbox we had in our garden, as kids,
as well as the biggest sand box of them all: the beach!
Bye for now, mon ami!
This is EXCELLENT Vincent! I showed the dragon to Esteban and he agreed that was the one he was talking about ;)
Hahaha! Cool!
