Hello garden friends
How are you all? Hopefully you are all well there I am back with you again, early February the weather in our area began to enter the summer season after last month's heavy rain which hampered the growth of my plants, but now I am very grateful because the rain has decreased so that my chili plants have started to flower and bear fruit a lot
This February was a success for me because the chili plants that I planted could grow well and bear fruit abundantly, hopefully until the harvest I can enjoy the results
Because last month the potential for high rainfall caused my plants to be attacked by wilt and curl disease but only some of them I am very worried about this pest attack because it could cause my chilies to die and fail to harvest
I really like planting chili plants and this is my favorite plant because in my area of Indonesia people generally like to eat chilies almost in every dish we use chilies even some areas are more extreme the dishes are very spicy
Because the rainy season has passed I will plant Jamaican guava seeds, I got these seeds from my friend, he is good at making seeds in his house there are lots of nurseries but so far I didn't have time to visit it, here is a picture during the process of planting Jamaican guava seedlings
Hopefully this guava plant can grow well and grow quickly and bear fruit so that I can enjoy the harvest, my garden plan for this year I really like gardening so I will always garden and I hope that this year I can get a lot of chili harvest and hopefully the price can be expensive in the market
This is my chili garden that I planted behind my house, the location is on the edge of the embankment, the pests that often attack chili plants are pests thrips tungou caterpillars and fruit flies which can cause rotten fruit and curled leaves so that the harvest fails but today I can't find any of the pests I mentioned earlier maybe because I have recently eradicated these pests I only found fire ants on my chili leaves
Hopefully these ants will not become pests for my chili plants, now my chilies cannot be harvested even though the fruit is already very abundant, but this type of chili is only sold when the fruit is red
My chili harvest recipe will sell it to morning market traders because they are able to accommodate chilies in large quantities and they also always update the latest prices following market prices every day
That's my garden update post for February #gardenjournal I hope you are entertained by my post
