This morning began with a simple intention—to care for plants that had long been neglected. These plants, adorning the walls of our home, now look weary, their leaves dry and yellowing.

The rainy season has arrived, bringing renewed hope. Rainwater will be their savior, offering freshness and a chance to thrive again.

Replacing the planting medium felt like the right thing to do. The soil in the pots had been there for too long—hardened and likely drained of its nutrients.

Calmly, I began removing the flowers from the wall, one by one. There was no rush, only care in every movement.

With steady hands, we gently took the plants out of their pots, taking a moment to observe their roots.

We replaced the old soil with new, softer soil—rich, loose, and full of promise. It felt good, knowing we were giving them a better chance to grow and thrive.

Even with dirt on my hands, my heart feels light and happy.

Before adding the new soil, I took a moment to clean the pots, making them look fresher and more welcoming.

One by one, I filled each pot with the fresh, fertile soil, then gently replanted the flowers in their new home.

I didn’t forget to remove the yellowing leaves, giving the plants a chance to breathe and grow better.

I sprayed a little water enriched with nutrients, a simple touch of care to help them flourish again.

I hope that the rain will fall again this afternoon.

When the plants are kissed by the rain, they instantly become vibrant and full of life, as if the world itself is breathing new energy into them.

It feels like a simple, beautiful blessing, given with such grace.

Of course, I must always be mindful of the water—neither too dry nor too wet, just the right balance, like a gentle touch.

As for the light, it’s more than enough.

The sunlight filters in softly, nurturing the plants with its warmth, helping them grow and thrive in peace.

The day had grown warmer under the gentle embrace of the sun, and our work was nearly complete.

Each plant was returned to its place, standing anew with quiet strength. As I stepped back and took it all in, my heart swelled with gratitude—a calm, deep happiness that words could scarcely hold.

This wasn’t just a new beginning for them, but for me, for my wife, and for the quiet life we share. A simple moment, yet it felt like peace had found its way home.
