Photos in my Garden II: A harvest is coming for March

Hello, dear hiver!❤️

I've been away for a few days due to university and work. But, things have not stopped happening in the garden. Plant life develops little by little, sometimes without us realizing it.

So today we start with these little ones. I sowed some pumpkin seeds on February 18. Some didn't happen because my cats made a bit of a mess in the garden, but, this little group did.

Note that there are many plants. Maybe it's a mistake to plant so many in the same hole, but, I'll let natural selection do its magic.

This is not the first time I have planted pumpkins. The first was a success, the following were failed attempts. Let's hope this is a good one, I try to meet all the conditions for them to happen.

There are also other apparently pumpkin plants around. Maybe it is. My mother tells me that she planted some seeds. We will wait. We already have a mini-plantation.

A curious fact is that this little one has kept the weeds at bay, so it allows my plants to grow. In the patio it happens the same as in the garden. There are several turtles that prevent the growth of plants that I don't need. So, always fight nature with more nature, it will work excellent for you.

So far they have been the only recently planted plants. The rest of the plants are flowering.

I went to look for some lemons to make some hot tea, because I have a bit of general discomfort that doesn't let me concentrate. The juicy lemons on my tree are gone. However, a new harvest is on the horizon.

Look at those white flowers. New lemons will sprout from them. I must be attentive, water constantly, and not touch them until they are ready. This will give us a good harvest.

The flowering of the mango tree is also ending. In February all its spikes had beautiful flowers, so you could see the colors that adorned it every morning with great pleasure, accompanied by a cup of coffee. Simply beautiful.

There are only a few left, the mangoes are emerging, others have taken on a good size without even noticing it. While a very small part has ripened at the wrong time. I think it is due to the temperature, here in Barcelona it is common for fruits to ripen due to the heat, about 36° or more daily.

Look at this surprise! She was collecting the dry clothes to fold and put away, when suddenly she fell from the top of the tree this mango. Delicious, and just what she needed. It seems that nature reads my mind.

Take advantage of seeing some plants...

The breeze has been strong these days, so you'll see it a little in the GIFs. They are videos that I then transform so that you can see everything live and direct.

It made me happy to see how the cherry tree is carrying, its fruits are still green, but there are some that are already ripe.

Its flavor is acidic, ideal for cooling off, I like them a lot, especially in juices. They also help raise hemoglobin levels. A cherry and guava smoothie will change your day.

Speaking of guavas, the harvest is over, there are very few left on the plant. Anyway, we have frozen some in the refrigerator. So we will have guavas until the next load.

And finally, from this gardening diary, I show you my flowers. Today they woke up ready to shine. They know it's the first day of the month, so they don't think about it.

I was surprised by the beautiful fuchsia onces. I still can't believe she is blooming, I thought she wouldn't. I have already gotten 3 flowers from her. There have been few, however, I feel that it is a gardening achievement.

I thought she would have to resort to pruning it, something she didn't want. She has grown a lot, the stems are long, she would have to wait longer to get to her current size. And it would delay my next projects.

I haven't bought the pots for the bonsais yet. I have been busy and with many expenses. I will sterilize my cat. In my country it is expensive, so I raise the money.

There will be no more births that put their health at risk, and after that I will buy some pots that will help me expand the garden, as well as beautify it more.

Until next time, dear gardener friend.
