This art is my participation in the doodlesnap drawing challenge the prompt is Winged Shoe. The style I used is scratch art.
I used my favorite characters from my forest folk drawings which look like beans wearing space suits flying and hovering in the night sky wearing their winged shoes.
Scratch art, as the name suggests, involves etching or scratching away a surface to uncover a hidden image or design. It's an excellent avenue for experimenting with various colors and textures. Plus, it's a remarkably calming and therapeutic activity.
