I saw a drawing called The Scout by @neove. I was drawn by the strong colors, and image of someone walking. I liked it a lot which made me want to draw my own picture. So here is my drawing which is also called "The Scout," but it's a little different. I used colors like the reference drawing, but I made them look like colored pencils. It's more textured, not just flat colors.
I added a few things like the hair, buttons, and nice shoes. The first drawing was simple, but I wanted more details. The colors are similar, but mine have more different shades. For example, my blues are not all the same. I also used bright orange for the gloves and shoes.
The image in the reference drawing is walking. Mine is looking at you and smiling a little. I wanted to show a little personality. I tried adding the black cat but it did not work for me. Still, I'm happy with my drawing It was fun to take the idea from "The Scout" and make it my own.
