Hey creative community
Sharing my doodle with you. The main focus of which is a charming chimney. One of the first things I added was the chimney, which I topped with a pointed cap. I wanted it to feel like something out of a storybook. I sketched in a little stack of firewood inside the structure, hinting at a cozy interior where someone could warm up on a chilly night. I can just imagine a crackling fire lighting up the space, casting a soft glow on the walls.
To make the tower even more inviting, I added a small set of steps leading up to the entrance. I wanted it to feel like a place you’d want to visit, a little hideaway where you could escape from the world for a while. The steps are simple, but they give the structure a sense of accessibilitylike it’s waiting for someone to climb up and discover
I decided to hang two pots decorations, which I think add a nice touch. I love how they give the tower a bit of personality. It’s those little details that make the drawing feel warm and homely
For the background, I went with a deep blue sky, which gives the whole scene a dreamy, almost magical atmosphere. I added a couple of fluffy clouds drifting by, keeping them soft and simple so they wouldn’t distract from the tower itself. The blue backdrop really makes the white structure pop, and I think it enhances that fairytale feel I was going for.
Overall, I had so much fun bringing this little tower to life on the page. It’s a mix of cozy and whimsical, with just a hint of mystery like there’s a story waiting to be told about who lives there and what happens inside. I’m really happy with how it turned out, and I’d love to hear what you think Do you imagine this tower in a magical forest, or maybe perched on a cliff overlooking the sea?
