Earlier today, my family and I decided to check out a new Korean restaurant in town—Kuya Korea. It recently opened, and since we were in the mood for something different, we eagerly headed over to try their dishes.
We started off with chicken, ordering two varieties: one glazed with garlic and soy, and another fried with melted cheese on top. Both were really good! The garlic-glazed chicken had just the right amount of sweetness, while the fried one was crispy and cheesy—an unexpected but satisfying combo.
For my main course, I went with bulgogi. The beef was thinly sliced, tender, and coated in a sweet, savory sauce that paired perfectly with steamed rice. It was a generous serving, and I enjoyed every bite.
Of course, we couldn’t skip the kimchi. I’m always curious about how each place does their kimchi, and Kuya Korea’s was fresh and flavorful. It had that nice kick that works well with the other dishes, plus it’s a healthy addition with all the probiotics.
Overall, we had a great time at Kuya Korea. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the place had a cozy vibe. If you’re in the mood for some Korean flavors, I’d recommend giving it a try—and don’t miss out on the kimchi for that extra zing.
