Siempre he admirado esa actitud innata que muchas personas tienen para afrontar ciertos aspectos de nuestra vida. Por ejemplo, están esas personas que como almas viajeras asumen una aventura y un destino sin mirar a los lados. Más allá de cualquier obstáculo, tienen la habilidad para mantener un enfoque realista y a la vez positivo que les permita encontrar la forma de poder seguir sin perder el rumbo o el objetivo. Quizás muchos afirman que esa clase de personas han nacido para eso, para saber navegar en aguas calmadas y también turbulentas, que les arroje experiencia y conocimiento para seguir adelante sin bajar la vista del horizonte.

Así veo a quienes parecen tener ese espíritu emprendedor que tanto necesitamos para lograr con éxito muchas cosas en nuestra vida. A nivel familiar, social o laboral, ciertamente debemos expresar esas ganas y esa motivación que todo emprendedor necesita para alcanzar sus metas, pero en mi corta experiencia admito que en este punto no soy tan bueno o ágil como lo puedo percibir en otras personas. Sírvase como referencia la actitud que una de mis hermanas siempre manifiesta cuando se trata de emprender algo en sentido laboral. Es impresionante como en algo tan común y sutil ella puede encontrar múltiples maneras de poder desarrollar un pequeño proyecto de trabajo, y en base a sus ambiciones y posibilidades, en muy poco tiempo ya veo a una mujer capaz de sacar adelante cualquier negocio.

I have always admired that innate attitude that many people have to face certain aspects of our life. For example, there are those people who like traveling souls take on an adventure and a destination without looking sideways. Beyond any obstacle, they have the ability to maintain a realistic yet positive approach that allows them to find a way to keep going without losing their way or their goal. Perhaps many say that this is what these people were born to do, to know how to navigate in calm and turbulent waters, which gives them the experience and knowledge to move forward without losing sight of the horizon.

This is how I see those who seem to have that entrepreneurial spirit that we need so much to successfully achieve many things in our lives. At family, social or work level, certainly we must express that desire and motivation that every entrepreneur needs to achieve their goals, but in my short experience I admit that in this point I am not as good or agile as I can perceive in other people. As a reference, one of my sisters always manifests an attitude when it comes to undertake something in a work sense. It is impressive how in something so common and subtle she can find multiple ways to develop a small work project, and based on her ambitions and possibilities, in a very short time I already see a woman capable of carrying out any business.

¿Cuál puede ser el secreto? Ella reconoce que todo parte de ese impulso inicial que puedas tener ante cualquier plan. Y es que tal como un escritor, un buen pintor o un destacado artista necesita de inspiración para dar vida a una hermosa composición, también la persona que desea emprender algo necesita fundamentos que se conviertan en el trampolín del cual jamás desees bajarte. Una actitud segura, firme y definida es una clave para poder iniciar lo que en un momento es un simple planteamiento a seguir, algo que irá tomando forma a medida que vayas avanzando con tu proyecto. Por lo tanto, no solo se trata de pensar en el mejor plan para emprender, sino también de la convicción y la fe para creer que lo puedes lograr.

La idea inicial de un viaje también nos permite analizar los esfuerzos y sacrificios que hacemos para poder llegar a donde queremos. Tal como existen muchos medios de transporte, también hay muchos métodos que nos pueden ayudar a encaminar nuestros planes. En el caso del emprendimiento pasa algo similar, y es que aunque muchos podamos trabajar y apuntar hacia el mismo destino, lo cierto es que podemos hacerlo de diversas formas y con el mismo resultado exitoso que tanto anhelamos. Asumimos la aventura de forma temeraria más no de manera irresponsable, ya que si no calculamos los gastos desde un principio el precio a pagar será muy alto, algo que quizás en cuanto a una inversión de esfuerzo y de tiempo nunca más podríamos recuperar.

Para un alma emprendedora, no hay situación ni condición que la prive de querer alcanzar lo que se ha propuesto. Así he conocido de muchos que han intentado una y otra vez establecer sus proyectos, y cuando los han visto truncados y sin el resultado deseado, no desisten ni se rinden. Es como si cambiaran de ruta pero no de destino, y aún si es necesario hacerlo una y otra y otra vez, su determinación no se esfuma ni se marchita en la decepción. En este punto confieso que de mi parte me cuesta reponerme ante un proyecto que visualizaba pero que jamás se dio, y es algo que quizás me ha negado el poder encontrar ese equilibrio y esa convicción que tanto necesitamos para triunfar a través de lo que emprendemos.

Therefore, it is not only about thinking about the best plan to undertake, but also about the conviction and faith to believe that you can achieve it.

The initial idea of a journey also allows us to analyze the efforts and sacrifices we make to get where we want to go. Just as there are many means of transportation, there are also many methods that can help us get our plans on track. In the case of entrepreneurship something similar happens, and is that although many of us can work and aim for the same destination, the truth is that we can do it in different ways and with the same successful result that we long for. We assume the adventure in a reckless but not irresponsible way, because if we do not calculate the costs from the beginning the price to pay will be very high, something that perhaps in terms of an investment of effort and time we could never recover.

For an enterprising soul, there is no situation or condition that deprives him of wanting to achieve what he has set out to do. Thus I have known many who have tried again and again to establish their projects, and when they have seen them truncated and without the desired result, they do not give up or give up. It is as if they change their route but not their destination, and even if it is necessary to do it again and again and again, their determination does not fade away or wither in disappointment. At this point I confess that it is difficult for me to recover from a project that I envisioned but never happened, and it is something that perhaps has denied me the ability to find that balance and conviction that we need so much to succeed through what we undertake.

Dicho contexto me hace recordar la frase de una canción que dice "si del cielo te caen limones, aprende a hacer limonada". Cuando pensamos en algún emprendimiento lo hacemos en base a lo que tenemos y no en lo que desearíamos tener. Esto a veces es una montaña que ya de inicio limita nuestra visión emprendedora, pues nos anclados a la idea de esperar "el mejor momento para empezar un negocio ", cuando lo cierto es que el mejor tiempo es ahora. Es como viajar con lo que tenemos y no simplemente imaginar un viaje para el cual no tenemos lo suficiente para llegar. Es verdad que nadie emprende algo para perder, pero si no tenemos cuidado con nuestro enfoque asumimos una carrera que desde un principio ya estaba destinada al fracaso.

Hoy, es muy importante poder desarrollar esa capacidad resiliente para alcanzar el éxito en nuestro emprendimiento. ¿Será fácil? ¡No! ¿Habrá sacrificios? ¡Por supuesto! Pero si queremos cosechar con alegría debemos sembrar con esfuerzo y mucho trabajo. Quizás no tengamos un alma emprendedora, pero si podemos esforzarnos por cultivar las cualidades y habilidades que nos permitan cultivar y mantener dicha actitud. En lo particular, creo que con el paso del tiempo cada vez es más necesario tomar el rumbo del emprendimiento, así que estamos a tiempo de asumir con equilibrio y responsabilidad ese viaje que nos puede llenar de satisfacción mientras llegamos a nuestro ansiado destino: un emprendimiento sólido y exitoso.

This context reminds me of the phrase of a song that says "if lemons fall from the sky, learn to make lemonade". When we think about a business venture, we do it based on what we have and not on what we would like to have. This is sometimes a mountain that limits our entrepreneurial vision from the beginning, because we are anchored to the idea of waiting for "the best time to start a business", when the truth is that the best time is now. It is like traveling with what we have and not simply imagining a trip for which we do not have enough to get there. It is true that no one undertakes something to lose, but if we are not careful with our approach we assume a career that from the beginning was already destined to fail.

Today, it is very important to be able to develop this resilient capacity to achieve success in our venture. Will it be easy? No! Will there be sacrifices? Of course! But if we want to harvest with joy, we must sow with effort and hard work. We may not have an entrepreneurial soul, but we can strive to cultivate the qualities and skills that allow us to cultivate and maintain that attitude. In particular, I believe that with the passage of time it is increasingly necessary to take the path of entrepreneurship, so we are in time to assume with balance and responsibility that journey that can fill us with satisfaction as we reach our desired destination: a solid and successful venture.
