Being committed to one's business will earn their customer's trust. They will keep showing up because they know they won't be disappointed. Similar thing with a woman in my area. It rained also that day and I needed to buy corn, was skeptical of going out too because I thought she wouldn't open but she did. I made her know how I was skeptical of her opening and she said she has been early even before the rain started and that is what she has been doing.
It's good to be committed to whatever you do as that is one way to gain people's trust.
