In this opportunity I want to talk to you about my experience in having a home business and how it relates to the management of uncertainty. About a year ago, my wife and I started a small Pizza, Cake and Sandwich restaurant at home. During all this time we have gone through various emotions and it has been up to us to manage uncertainty, which is something that can scare many people, not knowing how the future of the business will go. When we start a business, we are not sure if we will sell or if we will have customers. If what we are betting so much on will have a result. All this can generate that our emotions are changing, going through the joy you feel the days you have sales and you realize that there are customers who want your product or service and at other times by the sadness and anxiety waiting for someone to approach, that you sell a product, that all the time and money invested will pay off. | ¡Saludos a todos!
En esta oportunidad quiero hablarles de mi experiencia al tener un negocio en casa y lo relacionado de esto con el manejo de la incertidumbre. Desde hace aproximadamente un año, inicié junto a mi esposa un pequeño restaurante de Pizzas, Pasteles y Sándwich, en casa. Durante todo este tiempo hemos pasado por diversas emociones y nos ha correspondido manejar la incertidumbre, lo cual es algo que puede asustar a muchas personas, el hecho de no saber cómo irá el futuro del negocio. Al momento de iniciar un emprendimiento, no tenemos certeza si venderemos o si tendremos clientes. Si a eso que tanto le apostamos tendrá un resultado. Todo esto puede generar que nuestras emociones estén cambiantes, pasando por la alegría que sientes los días que tienes ventas y te das cuenta que hay clientes que quieren tu producto o servicio y en otros momentos por la tristeza y ansiedad al esperar que alguien se acerque, que vendas un producto, que todo el tiempo y dinero invertido de frutos. |

Generally we want the growth of the business to be fast, but it requires a high degree of patience. It is essential to manage uncertainty, knowing it as that lack of certainty about what will happen, considering that a large or small venture requires discipline, love and patience to know how to wait while we are doing. My biggest advice for those people who find it difficult to handle uncertainty, not only when having a venture, but also in every area of our life, is to have patience, to wait for what you are creating, to bear fruit. Like everything in life, it requires that we give our best effort, if we offer a product then we take care to take various actions to not wait for results, but to act. In the case of a business, advertise, manage social networks daily, as a business make ourselves present in people's minds, improve your product or service, ask your customers how they have found the experience in your store, include if possible more products or services, so that customers have more variety when they go to your store. |
Generalmente queremos que el crecimiento del negocio sea rápido, pero se requiere un alto grado de paciencia.
Es fundamental manejar la incertidumbre, conociéndose a ésta, como esa falta de certeza sobre lo que ocurrirá, considerar que un emprendimiento grande o pequeño, requiere disciplina, amor y mucha paciencia para saber esperar mientras vamos haciendo. Mi mayor consejo para aquellas personas que se les dificulta manejar la incertidumbre, no solo al tener un emprendimiento, sino también en cada área de nuestra vida, es tener paciencia, para esperar que eso que estas creando, vaya dando frutos. Como todo en la vida, requiere que demos nuestro mejor esfuerzo, si ofrecemos un producto entonces nos encarguemos de tomar diversas acciones para no quedar a la espera de resultados, sino accionar. En el caso de un negocio, hacer publicidad, manejar redes sociales diariamente, como negocio hacernos presente en la mente de las personas, ir mejorando cada vez más tu producto o servicio, preguntar a tus clientes como les ha parecido la experiencia en tu local, incluir si es posible más productos o servicios, para que los clientes tengan mayor variedad al ir a tu local. |
| Uncertainty is difficult, especially when we expect quick results, but it is very important to control emotions, keep the faith that everything will give results, carry out activities to make yourself known, differentiate yourself and grow in the world of entrepreneurship and always maintain a spirit of innovation as this always awakens the attention of potential customers.
Every day there are new challenges in the world of entrepreneurship. If this generates emotions and you manage to manage them in favor of the growth of your business, you can be sure that you are on the right track and it is a matter of time to achieve your goals. I hope these lines are useful to all my colleagues who have or want to start a business. And from my humble experience I would like to continue collaborating to facilitate the steps of those who want to start this beautiful and laborious world of entrepreneurship. | Es difícil la incertidumbre, más cuando esperamos resultados rápidos, pero es muy importante controlar las emociones, mantener la mayor fe que todo dará resultados, realizar actividades para darte a conocer, diferenciarte e ir creciendo en el mundo del emprendimiento y mantener siempre un espíritu de innovación ya que esto siempre despierta la atención de los posibles clientes.
Todos los días hay nuevos retos en el mundo del emprendimiento. Si esto te genera emociones y logras manejarlas a favor del crecimiento de tu negocio, puedes tener la seguridad de que vas por buen camino y es cuestión de tiempo para lograr tus metas. Espero que estas líneas sean de utilidad a todos los compañeros que tienen o quieren iniciar un emprendimiento. Y desde mi humilde experiencia quisiera seguir colaborando a facilitar los pasos de quienes quieran comenzar a recorrer este hermoso y laborioso mundo del emprendimiento. |
