I love to see people that love what they do and do it well. I am sure we all do. The whole world appreciates expertise that’s why many jobs opportunities require candidates to have a particular level of experience. Would you board a plane if you were told that an intern was the pilot? But you bet you’d sit comfortably if you were told the pilot has flown military and private aircrafts and has over ten years experience.
My point is, growth is significant in today’s world. While I was much younger, it was very common for people to land awesome positions in big companies with a university degree. Its not as easy today as a Bsc or BA is not as relevant as it was in the past. In some cases, even when you get a great job, you still need to stay updated and grow. I have seen somewhere that the day you stop learning is when you begin to die.
This applies to every sphere if life, professional jobs, businesses and everything in between. No one wants to do business with someone who doesn’t have history of sucess. Thats why if you’ve been a mechanic for some years, the knowledge youve had before won’t cut it in today’s world unless you upgrade because there are new models, new technologies and you have got to learn how these things work, or else you’d ne out of business before you even realize what’s going on.
I know a hairdresser that used to be in ny state( he made my wedding hair). Had a humble beginning but was always pushing to learn how to make the latests hairstyles. It didnt matter who was teaching, he was gonna get the knowledge. I learned so much about business from him. The last time I checked his intagram, I could not afford any item on his page. He is currently one of the best hairdressers in Abuja because he consistently grew and upgraded to the level that he is.
You cannot continue doing the same things over and over and then expect a different result!
I’m writing this like a note to myself as well that hard work and consistency pays. This year, please don’t just imagine the goals youve set for yourself. Go out of your comfort zone and push yourseld a little harder.
I sincerely hope that we all get to achieve our set goals this year!
PS: picture above is of my snacks production business that has been abandoned for some months now. I’m getting set to revive it!

Good evening @threedotz to move forward as you point out you have to renew yourself, get new knowledge, create products, apply other strategies. Many successes in resuming your venture.
