I never really felt the impact of Diabetes till the wife got Gestational diabetes when she was pregnant with our son. so will be nice to learn more about it and how to help those who might need it sometime.

diabetes is, naturally, something that I personally do not know much about. I do understand that its onset occurs in pregnant women, and that it dissipates by itself within months after the birth. I also understand that having had gestational diabetes is itself a risk factor for getting full Type 
diabetes later in life.
