Its been long I haven't greeted that here hiver friends. I had that break and it is because I am not chasing for a day anymore. Not counting the days to pass. Perhaps there is the contentment in my heart that I have found. But first, let me greet a Merry Christmas.
at home
The rawness and simplicity of the place I love the most got me in a good spirit. There is peace though life challenges is present.
Today I pick some flowers for the altar. My Tiya offered scissors for me to cut it when I ask to pick some of it down from there house by hand. She handed me the scissors since that flower stem is a bit hard.
I get a handful and tried to pick the ones with no black ants in them. I bet the dews of this flowers are sweet. There are parades of them. Spiders are also waving its web from one plant to another. I tried to let them be and asked some of them for the altar. I return the scissors and arrange it simply. I realize we have no vase in the house so I use the drinking glass. I might buy one in the future for my interest in foraging flowers. It bring happiness as I look at it.
In our yard, the pink rose of my sister is blooming after the rains. She is working far now and could not make it home for Christmas. I take photos of it and pm here with those. I know those inspires her, knowing her plants is growing and flowering. I hope it gives her comfort and hope.
In the afternoon, after taking a nap for long I decide to move and have some cleaning 🧹. After the chores, I am looking for some fish. Got to go down from the hill that we live by the stairs.
I take selfies and the rain pours. I get back to the house running. Have laughs with my mother since she said to me to bring the umbrella but I do not listen. I get the umbrella and back to the stairs again. The rain stops. My cousin 😂 have laughs since he see how the rains teases me today. I go on with the umbrella on hand.
I went for a fish and luckily a fish vendor came with some bolinao. Not the fish that my mother can eat but there is no choice today. Its Christmas and maybe fisherman is on holiday mood.
