I'm curious,have you considered contacting the restaurant to express your concerns about the excessive packaging?Perhaps they'd be open to making changes.It's always worth trying to initiate a conversation about sustainability.

They wouldn't listen. I have a few Korean friends that work here and this is just the norm. Apparently there are people that get upset when the food arrives in any fashion other than absolutely perfect. They want it to be just like it would be if they were dining in which to me, is an unrealistic expectation. I suppose it is a bit my fault because I like to eat at home with my dog instead of in the restaurant.
