Hello Asean Hiver's Family, :) Christmas is just around the corner. I guess most of you are busy shopping for Christmas gift's for family and friends. In my case, I do not go shopping for Christmas gItalicifts; what is important for me is our daily needs. Maybe better luck for me in next Christmas for buying Christmas gifts.
The Christmas rush is getting started, so I'll not wait until the 24th to buy our needs for Christmas Eve. Even now we're experiencing traffic jams, so I guess most of the people received their Christmas Bonus. Well, for a freelancer online like me, it's already expected every year of the holiday season. I do not receive any Christmas bonus or 13th month pay because I am not employed.
Yet still, I am lucky to have an income online as a freelancer because I have my time and freedom to do my chores, take care of my kids, and do my tasks online, such as Hive blogging, and that gives me peace of mind not to always be in a hurry to go to work. I have my freedom to sleep and wake up at whatever time I want to.
I didn't even pursue my ESL teaching because I wanted to focus on my Hive and Airdrops tasks. I even onboarded most of the ESL teachers to Hive, where their passion is to write where they can do posting during their free time. So I hope you guys will also support the newbie onboard ESL teachers because they are sincere in writing a post here and sharing their experience and activities as well.
Yesterday we went to Gaisano Mall for a grocery for our one-month food supply budget, and I included buying food to cook for Christmas Eve. We arrive early at 9 am in the mall, and the supermarket opens at 9 am. I came early to avoid the too many shoppers.
We buy from canned goods, snacks, meat, and hotdogs. And most of all, my favorite tofu and kimchi. For me, tofu is affordable and delicious. I like it so much when it's fried and served together with kimchi; it's such a perfect combination. I am just not sure if you have tried eating fried tofu with kimchi paired with rice.
After we roamed around the supermarket, we went straight to the cashier to pay, and by the way, I am using a Gaisano gift check worth 10,000 pesos, and its installment is good for 1 month, and the total is 2,000 pesos for one month only, but I decided to stop the credit next month because 2,000 pesos as interest is not good and it's too much.
# So after we pay, we deposit our groceries at the baggage counter and eat our lunch at the Gaisano Mall food court. I ordered shrimp, beef, a sautéed egg, and sticky rice soup. We were all hungry, so we ate a lot, and after that, we strolled in the mall for a window shopping for a while and decided to get back home because I still needed to work online.
