Every end of the school year is the hardest part to let go of old classmates at school. We attended my daughter's recognition day yesterday. She was happy to receive her school achievement as an honor student, yet she is also sad and asking me to take a picture of her best friends from grade 2 because by next month they will be promoted to grade 3 and she will meet her new classmates.
I did not expect that she is a class achiever because I know that she always gets sick, and that makes her absent sometimes to attend school class. Yet I was surprised yesterday that she received a medal for her achievement and got high grades in her studies.
The recognition starts at 1pm and ends at 3pm in the afternoon. After taking pictures at the stage and getting her card, we decided to go home to pick up her old brother to celebrate my daughter's school achievement so she will be inspired to do more in her grade 3.
I bought new clothes for her online, and she is excited to wear them. Yesterday, we went to SM Downtown to treat them at Mang Inasal Restaurant. Before we went to Mang Inasal Restaurant, we took some pictures at the Giraffe Safari event center on the ground floor of the mall lobby. I even had fun and asked my son to take a picture of me.
When we were done taking pictures, we felt hungry, and it was almost dinner, so it was time to eat at our favorite unli rice restaurant, the restaurant, the famous Mang Inasal food chain. Of course, we ordered our favorite grilled chicken with the chicken oil sauce that made the taste perfect, plus the halo halo that made our dinner so enjoyable.
We went out of the food chain so full, and they requested that they wanted to play at SM Fun Time Amusement Venue. We bought tokens for 100 pesos, and I let them enjoy playing around. Fun Time is so colorful that it attracts the kids to enjoy themselves. I remember when I was a kid, I just watched the other kids or teens play because I could not afford to pay for the rides.
Every time my kids are enjoying their childhood, it seems that I am getting back to my childhood as well. It is my happiness to see them happy. Even though I cannot provide all of their wishes, at least I am making them happy.
I love the colorful colors of the Fun Time Play venue; it lessens my stress in life, and there are some old people that are also playing, and I just enjoy watching them. We were done at playtime, yet still we roamed around to take some pictures, and I saw the Little Pony Statue, which is a favorite of my daughter, and she asked me to take a picture with Little Pony. Her pink dress matches Little Pony, and it looks so attractive in the picture.
My son also would like to have a robotic capture with the white robot statue, and it suits his personality as he likes to play guns and likes actions like firing. We had a great, memorable day celebrating their school achievements, and next month will be another year to strive for school opening and meet their new friends and classmates.
