How is everyone's Christmas celebration? I hope everyone is happy and had a great time celebrating the holiday with family.
We also had a great Christmas celebration because my younger sister with her son, and my niece from my other younger sister came to celebrate with us. Well, this happens every Christmas. We always bond together despite the distances of our residences. My youngest sister lives in another city here in Cebu while my other younger sister lives in a beautiful province miles away from us.
We had our usual simple celebration. We just chit-chatted, helped each other prepare food for Noche Buena, and watched movies together. My daughter and her cousins were happily playing Mobile Legends.
We also enjoyed exchanging gifts and eating a lot... hehe
One of the gifts I received that made me feel so happy was the multi-cooker and the single burner gas stove from my daughter @tegoshei and hubby.
This is the multi-cooker that my daughter and my hubby gifted me. They knew that my old multi-cooker was not looking good already and this kind of cooking appliance is really vital to me because I cook every day for our meals.
And, this kind of cooker can be used either indoors or outdoors.
Hubby also gave me a single-burner gas stove as a backup in case there's an electric interruption. Another reason is that our old double burner gas stove was already broken too. I was so delighted because I could conveniently cook more dishes for the family.
In fact, I already used the multi-cooker in cooking some of the dishes we prepared for the Noche Buena.
These are some of the foods I cooked using the multi-cooker.
I will post the details of the recipe for these dishes soon.
I also received gifts from my two siblings and their lovely kids.
They've always loved all the foods that I cooked and even requested their mothers to learn from my cooking. That's why every time they come to our home, I always cook some food that they like the most and prepare some extra servings for them to take home so that the whole family can enjoy the food. Doing these things can make me feel so happy.
That was again a great family bonding.
