Macaroni Pasta with San Marino Corned Tuna

Good morning/evening fellow Hivers!

Do you sometimes prepare or cook food without a specific recipe or name? It does happen to me often. Similar to what happened earlier today.

We don't have any food ingredients left in our refrigerator like meat, fish, cheese, etc and there are no more vegetables in our kitchen either. All we had was some spices and condiments.

My husband couldn’t go shopping for our food consumption earlier either because it's our schedule for the ice cream delivery and my husband is in charge of receiving it. Good thing, we have some stuff in our mini grocery store, so I went there and see what I could make or cook for our dish.

We still have some canned goods and I saw there is still elbow macaroni on the shelf. I remember that I still have some spaghetti sauce and cheese powder. So, I thought of incorporating it with the macaroni pasta and added a can of San Marino corned tuna.

This is the dish I ended up making.


Macaroni Pasta with San Marino Corned Tuna





INGREDIENTS:





-Macaroni Pasta
-San Marino CornedTuna
-Spaghetti Sauce
-Tomato Sauce
-Cheese Powder
-Evaporated Milk
-Tabasco Sauce
-Paprika
-Garlic Powder
-Canola Oil
-Salt
-Butter
-Water
-Onion
-Bell Pepper


PREPARATION:

Peel and wash the onion and then slice it into small pieces.
Wash and slice bell pepper into small pieces.
And then prepare all the rest of the ingredients on the table.


COOKING TIME:






Boil some water in a pan. Add a little salt and canola oil and then pre-cook the macaroni pasta. Just half-cooking it is enough. Then transfer the half-cooked macaroni to a clean big bowl.





In low heat, sauté onions and bell pepper with butter. Then add the San Marino corned tuna and continue to sauté. Add the spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce. Stir and mix.




Add the evaporated milk. Let it simmer for a few minutes and season it with garlic powder, paprika, a pinch of salt, and Tabasco sauce.





Then add the cheese powder. Continue stirring and simmer for a few minutes again. Then put in the half-cooked macaroni pasta. Mix them thoroughly until the pasta is nicely cooked.




And there it is! I was happy with the result of this experimental dish. It was surely delicious and my family loves it, especially my pasta lover daughter @tegoshei.

Its just like mother po, and she call it "pacham" or pachamba, lol. But still, it is delicious. There are some lang talaga na weird just like last time, huhu. She combined macaroni at banana, with milk po yon, so its sweet.

Anyways, this looks masarap po, and instead of meat, Tuna ang lahok. Di oa naman natry pero looks good.

That's the right word for this kind of cooking...pachamba..🥰👍
Any pasta is good with milk and I sometimes do that with some veggies like mushroom and cauliflower.
And yes, tuna is good with pasta too and its more healthier than meat.
