Hello everyone...
Have a wonderful day/evening..❣
Let me update you on Max's progress in just a month.
A month ago, I shared Max's journey being a new family member. (For everyone who doesn't know who exactly Max is, he is a golden retriever we adopted a month ago.)
On the day we warmly welcomed him in his new home, he was so skinny that you could barely touch any flesh from his body. He was merely bones and skin and he was so weak and couldn't stand properly. So, we did our very best to take good care of his health… serving him some good and nutritious foods and showing him our genuine love and care.
We happily and proudly update you on his progress now...
Let me show you his previous picture and his recent picture…
We already brought him to the veterinary clinic for his deworming and vaccination.

And it felt great saving the life of this pitiful doggie. When we first met him, he was so lonely. We can really see it in his eyes but now we can already see his beautiful smile… a smile that can melt your heart.
He is so playful now, and he even has a routine at home like the time of feeding him. He can actively smell right away the moment I prepare his food and excitedly barks with a little whimper asking for the food. And we enjoyed hearing it from him.
As I mentioned before, we also have this very cute and lovely toy poodle named "Arashi". He was the only love of our lives for almost 11 years because he will be 11 years old this coming April 16. But now, we have 2 fur babies of opposite sizes. And that is still a thing we're struggling to cope with… to make them closer and can play together. We're not there yet because our little one is so aggressive and the bigger one still acts like a baby because Max is still one year and 7 months old. But we’re hoping that eventually, they can have this closer bond.

At the moment, they mostly play with their toys separately.
But they always eat at the same time, although apart from each other. Letting them eat at the same time boosts our toy poodle’s "Arashi" appetite. We make them compete who can eat fast and can finish their food first.
My daughter giving them their dentastix...
It is so overwhelming to see them both happy and healthy, especially with Max who initially lacked care and love and even had a trauma because he was kept in a small cage that restricted his movements and wasn’t fed properly.
I was a bit upset about such an irresponsible pet owner but grateful at the same time that we met Max and become our own family now. In fact, a lot of our neighbors were happy seeing Max's progress too especially those who witnessed how pitiful he was when he arrived at our place. He has a lot of friends in the neighborhood both kids and adults and we are happy about that. Max now feels the love of a real family and is surrounded by some friends too.
I hope in less than a month from now, he can fully recover his health and his weight. Thankfully, he already gained more than two kilograms in just a month. We are also so grateful to my daughter @tegoshei because she provides most of the expenses for the clinic and food for the two fur babies.
We all help each other in taking care of them as real family members. I hope we all have kind hearts for all pets even for other living creatures outside excluding harmful ones like snakes and other insects like cockroaches... hehehe
And before I end my post, I'd also like to share our pet birds… pets that can freely fly away every time they want. They always come here for their food and we include them in our budget for food. They are also one of our stress relievers aside from our two doggies. It's just so awesome to hear their voices or sounds playing in front of our house and hear their soothing sounds.
That would be all for today. Thank you so much for stopping by and for reading my post.
Until next time...
God bless us all ❣🙏
