Hi, I am Arveno and i am from Surabaya city Indonesia. I want to make content about the largest lake in Indonesia. This lake is really beautiful and as far as i know this lake is the largest in Southeast Asia. This Lake is kinda far away from my home. But i think it is near to my friend place. Letss see if she notice this or not maybe she will answer it in the comment. Shout out to @cicisaja. This lake located on North Sumatra.
Toba Lake is one of the beautifull destination on Indonesia and very famous as tourism spot. This place as far as i know from other people telling the story or looking the video in movies or IG, this place is really really beautiful, with seeing Large Lake. Yeah imagine when we are in beach but it is freshwater and we can swim in it. Also, inside this lake there are so many fishes inside that we can fishing it. And this lake placed in high place so, the temperature will be cold i guess. If you are living in big city like my place Surabaya city and everyday need racing with time,super thigh schedule, and also very crowded. Going camping or staycation in hotel near Toba Lake is like heaven in earth.

And for your information The area of this lake is 100 kilometers (62 mi) long, 30 kilometers (19 mi) wide, and 508 meters (1,667 ft) deep. So, this lake is really big. I've seen on Instagram that we can take a boat around the lake. Thats very cool you know. And this place also family friendly if staycation in here. But, be careful if bringing kids here. The lake is very deep, once kids drowning in this lake it will be very hard to be discovered. i dont know about my wife, but this place is one of my wishlist beside going to beach. I loving seeing water especially water in nature. whether it's a waterfall, lake, river or sea. I love seeing them all instead mountain. I dont know it can calming down my though. For your information this place has often been used as a location for filming films. I know movies from Indonesia that tell about being Batak family and dreaming to be successfull person but ended up sadly killed by drug dealer. Maybe you want to watch the movie called Toba Dreams. Yeah i am in love for this place because of this film. The angle when shooting Toba Lake was amazing. And it is really beautiful. I really suggesting you guys to be here.
But, as i mentioned before this place is far away from my place. I need to travel using airplane and the plane ticket prices is really expensives and also the hotel price is expensive too. If i calculate correctly i need to have at least 16 million Rupiah for staying one week in Toba Lake. it is equivalent to around 1k$ for 1 week. Since this place is tourism spot. Oh, i forgot this expenses is for 3 person. Me,my wife and my son. And i make the expenses a little bit high because i cant measure how much food in there and also i dont know either how much living cost in there. But, my experience on Tourism spot, the expenses is never cheap. But, yeah i think it is worth to try. This is my wishlist going there.

Don't go too far to the largest lake in Indonesia 😁 go to Danau Sarangan, it has a historical role in Indonesian independence struggling in the past 😉.
Yes, I know Toba Lake, been there in 2009, it has an annual event which is usually conducted around August, something like festivals and sports events. The best thing about this lake is the Samosir island and the views of the hills that surrounded it.
