We would try to plan outings and overnights but it never really came to fruition. It became yet another "drawing" outing. Drawing means something that's been planned but never realized.
hahahhaha, very familiar with this term. Sometimes we will even joke about taking a bond paper and assign someone to color the "drawing". Glad you were finally able to spend some time with your friend and catch up on life!
