It reminded me of a local proverb that is very popular in our area which has the same meaning as the words "it is better to give than to receive" namely "the hand above is better than the hand below 😊👌

The world would be a better place very quickly if the formula in the movie was followed, but we humans are mysterious creatures. I made my daughters watch the movie, and they said they hated it because it was thinking movie. I think the movies and entertainment for kids nowadays doesn't intellectually challenge them like things from the past.
Haha, it's funny what's bizarre for others is normal for some. I grew up eating fried cow brain sandwiches, and never thought it was weird at all. They even served them at our county fair and other festivals, then Mad Cow Disease changed that culture.
I agree, and this contest served to remind me we are actually a village, especially if considering the number of active members. Even though we are a digital village, we can still do many of things a physical village can do. 🙏🙏🙏

There is truth to what you said 🤣. I almost always win something whenever I participate in Hive challenges, big or small 😆. I recently won an art contest here on Hive with 30 HBD reward even though I almost missed the deadline 😂. Not bragging but probably just my luck 😃. Anyway, please let other people win too. I am participating for fun and it's perfectly fine if I don't win anything 😁
I always try to put my best effort into whatever I do, not just on Hive. It's one of my life principles. It's more than wanting to earn something. It's more about honoring what I believe in. And I admit it's not easy to write the posts being a non-native English speaker.

Well you certainly earn it, it's clear you put lots of effort into your posts, and quality over quantity is something I always keep my eyes open for.

Thats one of my favorite movie too! I cried so much in that movie!
I showed it to my kids, but they weren't impressed, haha. I think modern children don't have the attention spans of pre-internet kids.
