August 14th ➡️ August 21st, 2023All over SE Asia there are traditional and local games/sports, and for this challenge I want to see things unique to your area. Here in Cambodia there is a local version of chess, different from that played in western countries, and of course there are many card games unique to Cambodia too. Anything unique or special to your country, town, or locale is great for this week's challenge.
Please include useful information like the rules, where the game/sport is played, how many people can play, and any other information you feel is relevant. Board games, lotteries, even sidewalk gambling games are welcome, feel free to re-create any scenarios for interesting pics. Okay, I think that sums it up, perhaps I will see one of you playing sepak takraw 😄.

It was nearly impossible to choose winners for this competition because there were so many quality entries and hearty breakfasts to mull over. Some say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so you have to fill your tummy to get enough energy to start it right. However, I've read some articles that this happened because of "commercialization". haha There was one done by a company producing bacon and another one which is a cereal maker. Anyway, let's not delve further into that. Breakfast is now important for me since I start my classes earlier than before.

This past few weeks I've enjoyed not waking up early. For the reason that it is school break! Yahoo! What more can a mom like me ask for but hours of sleep, right? 😁 Except of course if we need to go somewhere and the need to arise early is required. But for now, still enjoying it but not until the last week of this month. The new school year will be starting! So why am I talking about that? 😁 Well, in fact, this blog is about "What's for breakfast?" Waking up early or late is connected with Breakfast!

It's weekend and I decided to prepare a scrumptious combination of Filipino and Italian breakfast. Sharing my day with you is truly fantastic. I sincerely hope you are enjoying your weekend with your family and loved ones and that everyone is in the pink of health. Having breakfast set the overall mood for the day, providing an inner sense of tranquility. This is the reason why breakfast is sometimes referred to as "the most important meal of the day."
