Greetings ASEAN Hivers, this week's challenge takes us back to the kitchen for a little stir-fry action, so get out your aprons and chef hats.

Find your woks ASEAN Hivers, and if you don't have one that's okay, a careful cook can make things work with a frying pan too. This isn't the first or last time we will have a stir-fry challenge, but I enjoy seeing the culinary talents of you ASEAN Hivers, especially the diversity of cuisine from country to country in this part of the world. The only rule for this challenge is that the theme of stir-frying be involved.

You don't necessarily have to cook yourself or even make your entry a recipe post. You could buy a stir-fry meal from a local eatery and share it with us, perhaps give a review, description of the dish and ingredients, tell a little about the establishment, etc. You can make a detailed recipe post or even just make a stir-fry dish and share pics from your meal with us all. Once again there were so many entries that I was overwhelmed and had to delay the new challenge a post a little. This is a good problem to have though, and it's a joy for me to see so much participation and quality entries. The photography challenges are proving to be the most successful, so stay tuned for more challenges of this theme. I didn't think it would be easy to find so much yellow in the world, but the winners and all other participants proved me wrong, so hats off to you. I've decided to challenge myself to find anything yellow today, so I started by wearing a Punjabi suit that my in-law tailored for me a few years ago. I'm happy to say that it still fits me perfectly! This yellow Punjabi suit is one of my favorites, and I won't be giving it away to anyone because it holds a lot of meaning to me. And since it's Deepavali, I won't be hesitate to wear this suit for the occasion.

Yesterday afternoon, I together with my youngest son went for a walk to find some food stalls to buy pinakbet as requested by my other son who is now recovering from his sickness. If only we have some ingredients at home, I will just cook for him but the market is far from where we reside so we decided to just find some food stalls where there is pinakbet. We were almost in the main road, when we spotted a yellow car going to the intersection.

The following morning I went to getmy car that I parked not too far from home. There are several schools in the area which means that there are also lots of school buses parked here. One must always be cautious when driving near/alongside a school bus. Honestly, I didn't know there are cameras on this side of the bus! This is the left side of the bus near the "Stop" sign that flips outwards when students alight.
