This week's featured ASEAN Hiver is a Russian man currently living in Thailand. He recently appeared on my radar after a surprise 900 HP delegation to our little grassroots community. It's not very often we receive a massive surprise delegation without warning, but when it does happen it is warmly received.
As always, I did some scrolling to learn a little more about this guy, and it took me a while to find some pics of him from old posts, but it appears he has updated his old posts by deleting these photos. They are still visible on old versions of the posts, but I have chosen to not share the images here as it seems he's made some efforts to reclaim anonymity on Hive, and I don't want to compromise that.
I did however verify that he is a real human, actually lives in Thailand, and he's also quite a talented writer and photographer. And of course he's engaged too because you don't land on the ASEAN Hiver of the Week post without being tuned in to the content of your fellow Hivers. It's nice to see more non-Southeast Asian folk who live in this part of the world, posting and sharing their lives within ASEAN Hive.
Some of my favorite content on Hive comes from people who choose to live outside their own religion, culture, country, or comfort zone. I hope to see this guy share his life with us in ASEAN Hive and know that one doesn't need to be a Southeast Asian to post in our little community. Let's all give this gentleman a show of support and thank him for his gift that benefits us all. I highly recommend you also visit his blog because you'll almost certainly find something to your liking.

I have been following your community for three months now, and today I want to explain why I decided to delegate HP.
I like the posts of people from Southeast Asia - for their sincerity, warmth and openness. They are not afraid to show their lives as they are: cozy houses, stunning nature, everyday life and real, genuine emotions. This creates an atmosphere of lively communication and gives the feeling that you are traveling the world, even while at home.
I am glad to be a part of this community and hope that it will grow and attract even more interesting people. I wish ASEAN.Hive prosperity, activity and inspiration for all its participants! 🚀✨
