How's your day?hope everything's fine.
Once again, I will share a story with you about last day.Hello Hiver's family. It's me again @badeth34 , its been a while since my last post because its so busy now a days.

Last week, my mom and I decided to sell ginataang langka, which refers to unripe jackfruit cooked in coconut milk, because the jackfruit planted by my mom in the yard is full of fruit, but as the fruit grew, it started to crack, and there were also portions that seemed to be rotting. If we wait for it to ripen, it might not be edible anymore, so we took the 3 large fruits.
A large jackfruit was sliced by Mom to make a vegetable dish, but we were shocked to find out that it was almost ripe because the flesh was already yellow. So, we just continued to cook it, and we waited for the other two to ripen.

My mom came to our house early and said, "The jackfruit might be ripe because it smells good." I said maybe it was ripe, and my mom went back to their house. Our house is just close to theirs. I forgot what my mom said.
I was busy with house chores and cooking breakfast. When I was doing the laundry around 10:00, our youngest daughter messaged me to get the jackfruit because Mom had already sliced it.

So, I hurriedly went there so I could have a picture of a slice of jackfruit to show all of you, but when I got there, there were no slices left because my mom had already removed all the flesh one by one so we wouldn't have a hard time, and our hands wouldn't get sticky. She said we could just eat it directly; my mom is so sweet, right? I'm so lucky to have my mom. Hehe, they still treat us like babies even though we have our own families now.

So, that's why the one I took a picture of was the one wrapped up. She divided the jackfruit into four parts, giving us the most, then one for Auntie Omie (my mom's sister) and one for Sheila (my cousin's wife, who lives nearby). So, I just took the one that was wrapped and went home with extra steamed sweet potatoes. The other one might ripen the next day.

The jackfruit tree looks this big when you see it from afar, but it has so many fruits.

mansanitas, banana, jackfruit, guava, watery rose apple and avocado trees are some of the fruits tree are some of my plants
I'm about to harvest my banana soon, just waiting for them to mature and then they'll be ready to harvest.
it's just really happy to think that you have your own fruit plants, and when they bear fruit, you can eat them for free, even though you have to wait a bit for them to grow and produce fruit. You won't even think about it, but one day you'll just realize that there are already fruits. I have also planted some fruit so that when the day comes, my children will grow up and they will have something to harvest from the fruit trees. Sometimes we even tell them that when we buy fruits, we should plant the seeds so we can have something to grow, and in the future, we won't need to buy; we'll just pick them from the tree.
That's all for now. Thank you for visiting and reading my blog, until next time.

Exactly. Planting your own fruit trees is a long term wait yet it woulf be very rewarding when these trees bear fruit for you for free.

thank you so much for dropping by,yeah waiting for a long time is worth it when you see your plants bear fruits.

Jackfruit bears a lot of fruits once in season. We used to sell ripe ones back then.

That's true what you said, it's only seasonal, that's why were so blessed this season because there are many fruits. At first, it bear only 3 fruits.thank you for dropping by.

When I see jackfruit tree, I always remember my grandmother. She used to cook jackfruit with coconut milk. Your abundant with jackfruit; the fruit itself can be sold, but normally they sliced it into portions and sell per portion/serving. Love the smell and taste of ripe jackfruits.

Yes, some people sell them, but we can't sell ours because there's a part of the fruit that's damaged, and they haven't tired of eating.hehehe
Maybe when there are a lot of ripe ones and they are good to sell, we will also sell them.
