RE: Using jet lag to my advantage

Haha, that sounds a lot like my normal day. I get up at 4:30 work all day, and then I am in bed by like 8:30 at night. I'm glad that you have found a way to turn something negative into a positive. Do you think once your body gets back on Vietnam time things will change back to the way they were before?

well the real test will be today as it is our bowling day and there is a certain amount of partying that is expected of me. A big part of this getting a good night's sleep is dependent on many things but one of them is not overdoing the booze. I have self control, today is the time to prove it.

Oh yes, bowling. I keep thinking it is the weekend already with tomorrow being thanksgiving. I finally dug out my old ball the other day. Couldn't find a weight on it though.

that is a very wide spacing on the finger to thumb holes. You can tell it is custom. Nobody in our group uses a ball with such a wide grip but then again, only 2 people in our group have their own balls. That is likely a 12-14 pounder.

Yeah, I remember it was quite the process when I went in and had it fitted. I think part of the reason the spacing is so far is because you only put the tips of your fingers in the top holes up to the first knuckle. Maybe that's more common than I think though.

It might be common but I don't know anyone in our area that bowls like that but it is important to note that most of our group are pretty terrible.

I wasn't the best back then either. I don't even know if I could still throw my ball correctly!
