I've been known to throw a hoodie on my dog a time or two, but we never go out in public that way. Plus, it never lasts long because she hates it. She looks dang cute in it though. That's cool about the meds. Sounds like they are time tested. I bet they cost 100% more here in the states. That's just how messed up our health insurance system is!

It would surprise me if it wasn't much much more than that. I recall getting on antibiotics a few times in the states and the cost of it was outrageous. A cycle of common antibiotics here in Vietnam is around 50 cents.
Antibiotics they give you for free now. A law was passed about that some time ago. Everything else is ridiculous. We have a couple pills that our dog takes that you can also get for humans. We pay $100 per month for those.
I am yet to encounter any drug that costs more than a couple of dollars at the pharmacies here and you don't have to get a prescription for almost anything... which is something that can destroy people's lives and I understand now why prescriptions are kind of a necessary part of life. I know many people that are on Xanax all the time because if you want them, you just walk into a pharmacy and get them. Now they are zombified all the time because of it.
Yikes, that is pretty crazy. I have a friend who was addicted to prescription pain pills, so it's a slippery slope no matter what I think. The system definitely needs some reformation.
