Pure Joy; A Happy Tummy and Craving Satisfied

my Day (1).png

Hello, hivers! It's me again, @casiano123. How’s your day? I hope all of you are doing well and thankful for a brand-new day. If you will ask about me, well I’m doing great and happy to share my day with you—not today, but yesterday.

While I scrolled on Facebook, I came across a video of someone eating crabs. It instantly made me crave crabs, and I really wanted to eat some too! My craving grew even more when my cousin stopped by and told me that she had just bought some crabs from a street vendor. She got them for ₱250, just a few grams short of a kilo. I asked her if I could have one of the packs since she bought two, originally priced at ₱150 per pack, but she was good at bargaining and managed to get both for ₱250. However, she didn’t give me one because they needed both packs for their family of four.

Since I was already craving, I decided to go to the market. My husband and I rode his motorcycle since it was his day off. We went straight to the seafood section and bought crabs—nothing else. We only bought two pieces, which already cost us ₱200. After a quick stop elsewhere, we headed home right away.

As soon as we arrived, I immediately started cooking since we hadn’t had lunch yet. Earlier that day, we had champurrado before leaving. My original plan was to cook the crabs the way I saw them prepared online, but the ingredients were too expensive. Then, my husband suggested that I make a crab soup instead. It turned out different from what I had imagined, but surprisingly, it was delicious!

I simply sautéed garlic and onions, followed by tomatoes, then added the crabs. After that, I poured in some water, seasoned it, and once it started boiling, I added some green onion leaves. The best part? Dipping it in vinegar made it taste even better! You should try it sometime. I successfully satisfied my craving. It may seem like a small thing, but it brings so much happiness. I was truly grateful.

Thank you for reading my post! Again, thank you so much.

Love,
Thata.

Just by seeing your post, I also want to eat crabs right now but the price was not a joke. haha. Very delicious food, that will really satisfy your cravings.

It was expensive, but I'm so glad I finally got to try it; I only bought two.

yeah right haha, but it's worth it when you satisfy your cravings😄

That's really true! Even though it's a bit expensive, it only happens occasionally.

That's one of my favorite! crabs!! I remember when my father is cooking this kind of food and he has a skill that makes the food more delicious and we, my family, really loved his cooking.

Me too, I'm a big fan of crabs! It's funny, my dad and your dad are both great cooks. Has your dad ever made crabs like this?
