I don't think cats dislike people as much as they are just afraid of them. I also think that cats are a lot more selfish than dogs are. Cats will seek attention and rub up on you when they want something like food.... dogs seem to just be ready to play all the time while cats don't really seem that interested. I do like both cats and dogs though

These are true and beautiful words that I wholeheartedly believe. But the dog is a faithful animal of an extraordinary owner. Dogs have more patience than cats. Although cats are very comfortable eating food. But street cats in particular are very comfortable hiding their food.
