My mother used to plant flowers and take care of them well. I asked her one day about her hobby of watering them every single day. And I cannot forget what she told me. She shared with me the feeling and satisfaction she gets whenever some people compliment her mini garden. It was her happiness. According to her, plants give color and a good and welcoming ambiance.
