I would also kind of be worried if I ran into a web with a massive spider somewhere around. I remember killing a spider in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe that it was so big a brick bounced off it. I was only small at the time but have never forgotten that moment when the brick moved and it was walking away. There is dangerous shit out there if you stop and look. Luckily you guys are a running club so most things will disappear long before you even get close.

Whether or not it can actually hurt me becomes irrelevant once it is that big. I'm not so keen on insects anyway. It was kind of morbidly interesting to see though and almost everyone took a photo of this monster.
