I am a foodie at heart and this would appeal to me. Trying new food and being able to experience new flavors is what life should be all about. Here we have food festivals, but they tear the arse out with the prices and it is one big rip off.

The prices were something that I was concerned about because yes, festivals tend to rook people if they know that they can get away with it. I think in Vietnam that this doesn't happen very often though, this is one of my favorite things about living here - prices are low almost anywhere even at theme parks where the people visiting have little to no other choice than to buy from the place they are at.
No such luck here and you are fortunate they are not that greedy in Vietnam.
