Power cuts in the midnight to 6 am time period I do not put the generator on because you would be up all night waiting to turn it off. Having fresh air with the windows open would be nice, but the bugs are overwhelming especially if it is humid. We have all got battery fans now that charge on the mains for when we have these nights and they are quite often. Solar is about to be installed so we can finally live normally.
I can imagine bugs in the more wooded overgrown areas they must be a nightmare.
