Maybe he cannot take pressure so stick with your average and try and improve a little and see how he takes it. If he bowls well it will force you to raise your game and you know you can do that.

I think part of the reason why I do well in these things is due to experience. I have been the champion many times in the past. At one point I had the belt for so long that I considered vacating the position just because it was getting boring having the same champion all the time.
I understand that sentiment as you want to be challenged and have to work for the win otherwise it holds no value to you.
