I know how terrible it is as one of our dogs has cancer and we keep a close eye on her as she is very old now and why we are not going to treat it. This is a slow moving cancer which se should pass way from natural causes before the cancer.

for any dog owner, a choice has to be made and in the case of an elderly dog the treatment could actually be worse than the disease. While dogs are great at fending off side effects from medication an older dog, just like an older human, is less capable of dealing with it.
Yes and why we are letting it play out naturally as she will die before the cancer takes hold.
