On Tuesday 9 pm, my mom and I boarded the bus going to Sta. Elena, a small town from our province. It's the last town before reaching Quezon province, hence dubbed as the gateway to Bicol Region.
Don't get confuse by sudden introduction of these place if you're not from the Philippines😄
My mom work at a hospital 🏥 in this town as an on call nurse, so she's not a regular. Mom has regular work in our town which is 2 and a half hours from Sta. Elena. I went with my mom last Tuesday because I am applying for a part time job there as a Science or math Teacher, I did my teaching demonstration last Wednesday and mom asked me to wait for her to end her schedule so we can go home together. My demo teaching went well aside from the technical difficulties that I encountered 😭. When the principal interviewed me, he said that the topic is interesting but I should've added more gestures while I explain. It's also funny and cute at the same time that the students' uniform and my outfit that day are of the same palette 😀🎨
Even their AVR has this shade, maybe that's the favourite color of the president.
Another thing that I enjoyed during my stay here is that, there are a lot of wonderful nature scenery, I don't have bunch of pictures tho😅
The only problem is that I consumed my internet data real quick and the place where we stay don't have WiFi connection, plus the food expenses is a bit high since we mostly eat at a resto or fast food since we don't have cooking utensils here yet. Mom also been teaching me tons of stuff already haha, the what, where, when, how of this place she's so positive I'll get hired 😄 Actually, Mom lived here before for about 5 years. The same hospital that she's working part time now is her first workplace soon as she got her license. I'm still young at that time and I only seen her every weekend, I grew up with my dad that's why I'm more close to him. Mom started working near our home and live with us when I'm already on 4th or fifth grade. As I grow up, I become closer to my mom too but I am more talkative with my dad, that's why when he died, it's difficult for me to console my mom I just don't know how to express my care.
I'm still trying to get closer with mom and I think my mom is patient with me❤️🥺 I love her and she deserves to feel that love I do hope I'll be able to channel my love more clearly. So yeah I'll stop with this mom-daughter thing because I'm gonna cry 😢 hahah

Most likely there were a lot of emotions involved. Interviewing for a job is not easy, especially at a young age. Good luck though and no worries, you'll get closer to your mom in time.
