One of my forte in my career path is actually my luck 🤣 for some reasons, I'm one of the luckiest person(i do believe so) in terms of participating company events. No I don't mean to brag about it, I'm writing this blog to share with you one of my many company treasure hunt, that i think the pictures worth showing you what an actual concrete jungle KL lookalike.
The company kick off event kicking us off by a bright pink color T-shirt, many could have call out what the organizer trying to set us up for.
Based on my many company treasure hunt experience, we do not need to follow other teams to share resources. We all want to win the game, sharing information could lead to sure fire miscommunication.
Since external help is not limited, we advise the team to share all the clues with families and friends who are well worth in solving puzzles and riddles. And then we atarted to write down any possible or known fact into the sheet.
Along the way, we take selfies and wefies not only to the answers, but also NOT forgetting to take good memories together. That is one way to help us remember some of the important clues or possible answers, at the same time less related object might help to confused other teams. Dang, what the hell is Dave trying to acheive here. There must be some secret there!
There's 3 different pictures shown on the clue sheet, Ant, Door, Grill. Had i not visited this restaurant a day ago, i would have never guess it!
I cant remember the question, but Hard Rock Cafe is the answer. I took this photo because one of my previous employer likes to host event at the Concorde hotel, which is next to the Hard Rock Cafe.
This, Rowan Atkinson is in Kuala Lumpur City Center. Isn't that obvious? The only challenge is, the signboard located at the opposite direction. Many would have missed it and find Coffee Bean instead.
Cabana Inn is a recently(not too recent, probably like 10 years now) closed down hotel bext to some of the most iconic pub and discos. This part of the town is full of crazy drunk stories back in the late 90s, and early 00s.
Now this one is less obvious and its kinda out of the way. The question is Bollywood star Shah rukh khan likes to dine at the king place. We found this restaurant Bombay Palace and decided yo try our luck.
The question is, the singer of Titanic theme song, but only part of her is here. A bunch of us taking pictures at the building and not forgetting this is where our competitors office are 🤣
The team missed the Westin hotel, so i had to rush bsck to the track and to reconfirm if it is The Westin or only Westin.
Our team consist of 4 male and 2 ladies. I am probably one of the eldest here, and glad we use our brain more than demanding our physical strength on this hunt.
We finishes our papers earlier than expectation, and still have an hour before the submission deadline. We decided to sit in Starbucks, grab a coffee and discuss which is rhe best answer for some of the not so sure questions.
Whilst waiting for the organizer to tabulate our hunt, we have mini games for team building. We took it nicely and maintain our cool. We didn't win the small game though, but we have a great team that respect each others.
Tadaaa... And we won the damn hunt yo. Its a hamper worth 650. I'm ok with the rest of the team split it, i only took a Dalcott Mint tea and left the rest to the team. I hope they had a good time, and hopefully to have more chance to work with the same team again in the future.
Before we left for good, my colleague @teohrene looked a little frustrated due to some work challenge. We set our pace to take a late coffee break at the nearby mall, had a great chat session before we call it a day.

No wor. Usually I got the newbie fluke shot luck. Like everytime when I change company, I will get lucky draw la, win some prizes la etc. my previous job changed, my number was picked by lucky draw for RM1000 cash, but my father was sick, so I balik kampung instead of attending company annual dinner. The previous job before that was a 42" LCD TV that I didn't collect prize, straight away -30% RRP "sold" back to the shop. Before that also won another treasure hunt, gotten Nikon digital camera for the entire team, one for each person.
wah o.o then next time got lucky draw or treasure hunt need u on the team. can win free stuff minimum rugi but think can profit leh lol. come on lets gooooooo buy some lottery tickets
