Its been crazy 1 week since my aunt passed away. Follow up with tight schedule of funeral service, sending relatives back for Chinese new year celebration.
And rushing back to Kuala Lumpur to attend a friend's church wedding. On top of all that, need to be a lat minute choir boy. Same day attending a relative gathering lunch, and going back ro church for evening mass.
Following day, send the rental car back to the shop. Its been thousand kilometer she served us during this entire ordeal.
I think its a pretty good car, and the fuel consumption is quite affordable. Its not a full scale MPV yet. Should we seat 7 person into it, there's no way we will be able to put anymore luggage.
Unfortunately, there is cracks on the windshield. #1
Crack #2. What the hell? I have been driving cars for 30 years, i have only been through 3 times windscreen crack and stone chips.
Stone chip #3. And now, with one week, I'm getting all of that damages? In one car? Was it bad luck? Or it was already there?
Stone chip #4. Not sure if the shop will forfeit my deposits for these damages. I didn't realize if they were there originally.
The lake park is now full of parkers doing their morning routine. Well, I'm now one of them, full blown parker. Just like any Chinese out there, we wear red during Chinese new year.
This place usually have a few pretty gals doing their meditation. Today, there's only one. Falun Gong is banned in China (outrightly illegal in that country). I have nothing against it, but having a teaching of denouncing modern science, welp... It sounded like a cult.
I appreciate you sharing this. It helps to see it not as bad luck, but as something that was already present, a part of the bigger picture. Thank you for your openness and honesty.
Thank you for stopping by and the encouraging words. I really need those.
Sending you an Ecency curation vote!
Thank you boss! I have a few shadow pictures during the lunar New year season, but am not too satisfying. Still deciding a theme/topic for these photos 😅
Double shadow due to dual light source. I have grown fat, but the shadow can be essily tricked by standing at a different position.
Its been raining most of the days, fortunate to capture a silhouette of the city center of down yown Ipoh. Capital city of the mining town of Malaysia.
A golf cart people carrier is parked under the shadow of the funeral house where my aunt lay to her final resting place.
Thanks for sharing these! You had a very busy week.
I hope to see a shadow Contest entry from you!

Its not bad luck i guess, i guess its already there and thank you for sharing this.
Well, bad luck as in I couldn't prove that it is not my fault.
If that's a rental car, i think they have written all the scratches or cracks in their ledger. And before they issue the car they will put it in a receipt that there are some damages on it. I hope its already there you so can get your deposit😊 Have a nice day😍
Thank you very much. I too hope they will refund me back my deposits
You're welcome 😊If that scratches was already there, 100% they will hand it back 😄

You're such a busy person, yet you still have time to share your story here. I admire that. Regarding the car issue, it's sad that you have no idea how it happened or if the damage was already there before you rented it. I hope you get your deposit back.
I wish I'm not that busy, I wish my aunt didn't die just before the Chinese New Year, I wish my relatives didn't came all the way to attend the funeral so I don't have to send them back. I wish I have time to share quality post, instead of writing how much unfortunate incidents I had in a week. But I thank God I have the strength to ride this through.
I know it's difficult for you because you are a very busy person. It's truly difficult, and I really feel your pain. Although the situation is painful, we need to accept it because it was all part of His plan. I admire your strength, sir.
