Last week was the celebration of Eid Mubarak. We locally called it Aidil Fitri, if not mistaken Indonesia called it Eid Al-Fitrus. Not exactly sure how are the rest of the middle east country call it, perhaps you can leave me a message at comment section.
I've got my hair cut during the festive season and they actually charge me more than twice i have usually paid for a hair cut. I should really be careful of my spending in future. I can cut my hair some other time, rather than eifht at the middle of a festive season.
My faith is still strong. Although I'm not 100% vegetarian, but am definitely done way more than abstinence. We went to the Indian restaurant Kader near to our church, i already knew their potato paste is super nice, properly cooked with herbs and spices. The fried puri breads aee very fluffy.
Wife got her usual Rawa Dohsai. I like their Rawa Dohsai too, but i just so happened wanted a Puri this day. We finishes our food with Teh Tarik (pull tea, where they use a mug to pull the milk tea from one mug to another, so the air goes into the liquid and make the texture more airy - creamy).
Me: "Father i have sinned. My sin is, i think I'm too attractive, hence i make the ladies surrounding me thinking of having sex with me."
Fr. : "Those are not your sin. But if you would think they wanted to have sex with you, then you should really pay a lot more attention to your own intentions."
Me: "You're right father. Then it must be my parent's fault. They must have used some secret recipe sex that created me that looks exceptionally good that causes ofher girls wanted to have sex with me. Will God forgive my parents for creating such a handsome son that may lead other's to sin?"
Fr. : "Get out!"
Oh no it didn't happen 🤣 i am talking to my imaginery friend whilst i am reserving confession for the Catholic family members. In all seriousness, one day when i have a chance to go for confession, i need it to be my own remorse of not having enough self conscious in controllinf my bad mouth. Sometimes words just blurt out from my mouth without considering that may have hurting someone.
Weather are quite decent lately. Its warm, but not too hot. Its raining, but not flooding. Life is challenging, but i am glad to have a family that "probably" loves me 🤣 i know sometimes (most of the time) i can be annoying, as the Chinese old saying goes, we don't express our love feelings. When we do, it will be scolding. "Watch out you idiot! U want the car run over yoh?" Typical loving father giving advice on traffic crossing. "Eat! Eat more of these junk food so you get heart attack and die!" Typical loving wife advice their husband to avoid consuming too much junk food. I kid you not. These are what a normal Chinese family would do. "Drive faster, make sure you crash and die. If you dont, make sure you bite your tongue and kill yourself so you don't cause anymore trouble to the family to take care of a paralyzed person" one of the most loving message from one of my ex-girlfriend, can you see how deep is her love?
Perhaps junior also inherited partial of my coolness. He's got a huge complaint from the Sunday school teacher that he's throwing tantrum in the class after being make fun of his new hair style. I am not sure if i should influence him to be like his daddy more. I don't really care if others make fun of me or even body shaming me. Laugh at fat stomach, i can go on diet and lose fat. Laugh at my face, i think I'm lucky enough my wife don't mind and im grateful enough to be STILL married 🤣
