Hi all. I would like to give you my apology in the first place if I have not commented on your post much. It's been super hectic at the new working environment. Now I know why they're buying me over so desperately.
Apparently all their existing staff are overworked and suffer with the "new" system they're using. More than half of the old staff resigned, and the "new" workload being added to the existing staffs, including "that" new guy who knows nuts about their "new" system they themselves has no idea how to use it 🤣
Most of the days I'm waking up early in the morning, send the kids to school, then a long drive to the office, before sun up I'm already working. And usually, by the time I can leave the office, there's no more traffic late at night. My daily step count drastically dropped to less than 2000 most of the day. Some day below 1k.
Nevertheless, I'd still be sitting on my toilet bowl scrolling through the discord curation channel, finding posts to vote. If I did not comment on your posts, not because I don't want to. I simply don't have the time to even reply to my own post comments, and therefore I choose to not post unless I can reply. So, if you seen me vote, I need to let you know it was a manual vote, and I'm still here with you.
3 weeks down, 49 to go before my contract finishes. I know I should not be counting so I can look forward positively, but I'd be prepare for 2 scenarios, either they take me in as permenant staff, I'd be suffer for a long time before I can find another job. Or, I tell them I decided to NOT continue working with them.
There's one last scenario which highly unlikely gonna happen, somehow the IT infrastructure suddenly change back to old model before all these current issues appeared. I think I'd be happily accept an offer to work here even if lower my pay.
Lemme give you a quick roll down of the pictures.
- Went to the mall and fetch home minister and the princes after their Barbie movie.
- TK sent me a box of mooncake all the way from US. Woot
- Arrived at the office 7:08am, checking on the almost 250k Odometer.
- Left office by 9pm, traffic was smooth
- One of the afternoon, deciding whether to drive out for lunch, and the haze helped me decide to stay in.
- Found a dead roach at the restaurant
- The same dead roach from that restaurant. I told the waitress, she walked over and sweep the dead roach aside like using her feet as a sweeper.
- Only 3 weeks, my face officially grown WIDE, despite I lost 3kg.
- Weekend is the only chance I get to spend some MY time, to take a walk and release stress.
I use the same method of cleaning up dead insects as your waitress :)

kick it out the door of my condo into the hallway! I'm normally shoeless inside my condo so I don't really like doing even this.
