School holiday came to an end. We are in the middle of transitioning from lockdown mode back to normal mode. For the past 4 years, school year would start at March. In 2025, the ministry of education has moved it to February, and hopefully by next year we will be fully back to January.
Now, the only person who is still attached to the MOE is our youngest boy. How i wish he is still in his chubby toddler years, but its unrealistic as we all grow up and grow old. We couldn't find a suitable school shoe for him. We have been mall hoping the entire evening, but no joy.
Fortunately, we found these at the AEON. I'm not exactly sure if this is formal uniform with the school's requirement, but let's try it first. At this age, at this size it's very hard to get a pair of shoes that fits him. Either too small for adult size, or too big for children size.
How do we manage to find this? I am not exactly sure if this is a girl's shoe 😂 female cutting i mean. I only see girls came to this place to test fit their shoes, our boy is the only guy testing it. Trust me, he strongly against buying it, but what choice do we have?
After renovation, the mall looks advance. All the payment counter has been moved to one corner. Good thing is, you will not be able to "accidentally" get pass the security check before queuing at the counter. Bad is, no matter you buy or no buy, you will have to get pass the people queuing here.
On the other hand, i found one of very little surviving Loong Cafe. This is more like a kiosk than a full scale restaurant/coffee shop, but i am ever grateful for just having a chance to order their food again.
This one they call it Loong Stall, since they dont sell drink. I have seen it in Lot 10 food court previously, but i have ordered other food before i found it. This time, i have purposely reserved my hungry stomach for it.
If you're coming in from the ground floor in the mall, or came in directly from Fahrenheit exits, you are most probably going to miss it, because Loong Stall share with another duck noodle shop hiding behind the corner.
Its a prepaid stall, therefore please order food at the counter, pay it off and they will start preparing your food immediately. I got myself a BBQ omelette rice. RM15 is not cheap if you're comparing it with a roadside stall, but this is in the mall, at the golden triangle. How do you think they can afford to pay rent?
As the food, is just as i can remember, super nice. Don't pay attention to the name, they name it as scrambled eggs with honey BBQ. Basically, its just chopped char sew omelette topped on the rice with BBQ sauce as topping. Oh and came with a bag of paper towel.

I can imagine if my boys would also grow like that, my sons are still in their toddler years so I'm enjoying every moment they are still small. The omelet looks delicious though. Have fun shopping.
Hi hi Bro Happy Chap Goh Mei… time flies right. You have a handsome son.
