First i would like to thank Justin to come up with the idea of writing about workout, exercise to stay fit. I used to he quite proud of my body a couple of year back, but somehow i got a little overboard and turned myself into a different character, namely fat. Don't get me wrong, I'm not fat shaming. I used to be an oversized guy, then through some MLM program i changed my eating habits and lifestyle, lose some weight and stay slim for a couple of year.
Until recent 2 years, I wished i can use my work schedule as an excuse, trust me i can't even cheat myself with that kind of excuse. I'm just being lazy most of the time. Despite the heavy work schedule recent years, after reached home instead of go for a walk, i choose to sit back and play online games. Instead of writing blog, I'd spend time watch prawn until midnight(and its quite risky as the kids are now all grown ups). To put it simple, I'm just giving myself one excuse after another to not discipline.
Until this March in 2024, blood bank refused to take my blood due to blood preasure reading is a little off the scale. Mind you March is usually my vegetarian diet season inline with Lent. I certainly know its about time to do something about it. Either i actively involved myself into high intensity workout routine, or i can start to eat healthy in the first place.
It took me almost half a year to legitly tone down my blood pressure to a slightly normal reference range. I know its NOT the most ideal reading, but i need to blood pressure to be NOT SO "tall" before i can start working out. You have no idea i lost how many cousins during their vigorous workout. The thing is, many of us didnt think one day will be me.
Now, i am doing everything i can to NOT skip my weekend walk routine. After sometimes, i have added in pull ups. At first, i can only do once(that one time i jump up to the monkey bar). But i did gave myself some push over the following weeks. I know jumping pull up can be very hideous, but i am adding in reps, 1, 2, 3, 4... Jump up, slowly loweing myself to feel my back muscle contraction, this is called TUT. Time under tension, which will greatly stimulate muscles growth.
Week after week, months after months. My current routine is walking 5 laps at the park. Each completion of one lap, i will put myself on that pull up rig for 4 continuous rep and add 1 more for failure rep. Nope, my strength still couldn't make it up to 5 reps consecutively, but i am already very happy, to be able to clean 4 and 5th as half rep. And i can do 5 sets, i am considering myself pretty dang good at it despite with my current physique and weight.
I am not giving myself excuse to not slim down, once again its all my fault. I can continue to add laps and pull up sets, i know i cant lose that belly fat if i keep eating like a moron. I want to design a convenient meal plan for myself, which fit for my current work life. Its simple, now i lose a couple of kilograms during the weekend, but i gained them all back (and fhen some)during weekdays as i am working in town, everything i eat out is very hard to keep track of my calories consumption. Pack food is out of the window as my current job will be on the road most of the time. I need to meal plan myself to be eating street dood and still be in a caloric deficit.

It's pretty awesome to workout because it will stay us healthy and keep us fit. I am also working out myself like walking or even doing things that I think makes me fit. I usually walk on going to work and it's a good idea for me to exercise a little bit than riding in a tricycle.
That's right buddy. I wished I could also walk to work, but it's a little too far and it involves a 6 lane freeway. Therefore, I rather take time to walk in the park 😅
